Our Process
1
The Christ Foundation accepts grant applications through separate Spring, Summer and Fall funding cycles.

Following each application deadline, we will reach out to qualifying organizations to learn more about how they plan to leverage our financial support.

Our trustees will review proposals and make the final determination on which programs receive funding.

Your organization will be sent a notification email letting you know whether or not you have been approved for funding and at what amount.
Requirements
The Christ Foundation supports projects and programs related to community development, education, health and human services. Each proposal is evaluated with respect to available dollars and alignment with our mission.
Organizations applying for a grant from the Christ Foundation must be not-for-profit with 501(c)(3) status public charities and must have received their tax-exempt determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
Grant proposals should attend to basic community needs, achieve and sustain significant and long-term impact and possess well-defined objectives.
We favor applications that include financial commitments from other organizations and can be independently sustained long term.
We do not offer grants for building funds, capital improvements, grant-making foundations, fund drives or to defray travel/transportation costs.

Our Timeline
Organizations may only apply for funding for one project/program in a given 12-month timeframe.
Spring
Application Window: January 15 - March 31
Notifications will be sent by the last Friday of May.
Summer
Application Window: April 15 - June 30
Notifications will be sent by the last Friday of August
Fall
Application Window: July 15 - September 30
Notifications will be sent by the first Friday of December
